Skills Gained: An industrial placement conducted as part of a degree course and continuing for the duration of one full year. Responsibilities involve routine environmental monitoring, waste management policies, special waste minimisation projects and the writing of a software package for health and safety compliance within the healthcare sector. A project on waste minimisation is also being undertaken with the Environment Agency.
